Every day our associates receive emails, letters and handwritten notes from residents and their family members. Many of the residents express gratitude for the care they receive. Nothing warms our hearts more than hearing the appreciation of our residents and their families. Making other people happy, healthy and cared for is what we do. If you want to make a difference in someone’s life consider joining Brookdale.
Find out what Brookdale Assisted Living residents have to say about our community associates:
Dear Lisa: Our parents were residents of your facility over the past four years. We lost our father last August and our mother passed away on Sunday. We are so grateful to your staff for the compassionate support that was shown to both our parents during their stay with you at Brookdale Evesham. The nursing care provided by Kathy was truly a gift from God. She provided our parents the medical and emotion support at a time when there was little hope. She is truly a treasure to your organization. Ricardo became such an important person to our mother also — she loved him. And then, of course, there is Diane. She became our mom’s friend and confidant through this past year after she lost her husband. From when you walked into the front door and Thelma was there waiting to greet you (not to exclude the other exceptional receptionists you employ who are fabulous). All of your staff should be commended for the care they provide in such difficult circumstances. They are caring, lovely people and we thank them all for what they have given to our parents. We are sending over some food trays for this Friday for both shifts and would like them to know how much we appreciate what they did for our parents. Thank you for passing this along to all of them with our thanks and love.
Dear Sherry: My mother in law, Marjorie, 95-years-old, has lived at Foxwood Springs for over 17 years. She was in independent living until the end of June, 2017 when she entered Assisted Living. She declined and in August she was hospitalized for eight days and then was transported back to Foxwood Skilled Nursing for followup care. I give you this information because I would like for your board to know that ALL of the staff at Foxwood, from independent living, office staff, sales and marketing staff, nursing, CNA’s and everyone that took part in her care were absolutely exemplary. You should be very proud of your staff at the Foxwood Springs Senior Living Facility. Marjorie passed September 10 and again your staff was awesome. I want you to know how very much our family appreciates it.
Dear Jay: I want to thank the entire staff at Brookdale St. Augustine for the superb care my mother has received before, during and after Hurricane Irma. I spoke with my mother last night and she was effusive in her praise……which is never lightly given. The facility immediately went to generator power when needed and I believe today is restored to normal electricity. Everyone present during the storm did a fantastic job caring for the residents. The transition to assisted living for my mother has not been easy and at times she can be difficult. But after the last few days I know she feels extremely lucky to have been in a safe environment with people who care for her. I will speak personally with Randy Yost, executive director, but I want corporate to know about the facility’s performance as well. Thank you.
Hello Brookdale HQ: My father has been resident at Brookdale Chanate in California for several years. Now we need to move him to Washington State. Because we have been so happy with Chanate, I did not bother checking any other company’s facilities in Seattle—only Brookdale. Thought you would like to know that. Soon I anticipate putting a deposit down for Brookdale Northgate, the facility closest to my home. I have thanked the Chanate staff for all they do, wanted to thank you, too.
Dear Andy: As a CEO of a major company I am sure you get your share of letters of complaints and out of line rhetorice, well hold to your hat this is not one of them. I along with my wife reside in Brookdale Naples, Florida. Like the rest of the country I’m sure you watched last weekend what we experience here in Southwest Fla. We were all glued to our TV’s watching the weather reports from local and network outlets, meteorologists giving the latest up-dates going through their methodology and showing areas most at risk. I won’t bore you with more on Irma, I would be remiss if I did not pass on to you my impressions of the herculean effort, Michele and her entire staff performed, coordinating all the logistics that went into making sure all residents were safe, fed, provided water and comforted when needed. Ou well being and safety was staff members mind set. I’m sure I speak for all the our residents in giving our heart felt thanks. Gratitude and appreciation for job well done. Hopefully we will never have to through a hurricane again, but if we do, I’ll take the same team.Share this:
