Brookdale Senior Living Associate with Resident

 

 

Brookdale® Senior Living believes in promoting associates from within and has established a job-posting program to provide associates with the opportunity to apply for positions in which they are interested.  Management level vacancies are normally posted on the Company intranet.  Outside candidates will be considered for posted positions.  Brookdale reserves the right not to post a particular position. 

To be eligible to apply for a posted position, you must:

  • Meet the minimum hiring specifications for the position;
  • Be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations; 
  • Be an associate in good standing in terms of your overall work record; and
    Have been in your current position for a minimum of six (6) months(Human Resources may waive the six-month service requirements).

You are responsible for monitoring job vacancies and for communicating your interests with your supervisor, the community office manager or Human Resources during the posted period for a specific opening.

Human Resources will contact you regarding your interest and the status of your candidacy. Your supervisor will be contacted prior to the completion of the interview process for the purpose of discussing your overall work record and abilities. 

Former associates who ended their employment with Brookdale in good standing are eligible for rehire.  A former associate who wishes to be considered for rehire must follow normal procedures required of any candidate for employment.
